Salary and Promotion of SDM in BPSC

The post of SDM is the highest among the state administrative services. Officers are respected in society and they enjoy a prestigious life. Each state conducts the examination for the selection of officers in administrative services. The post of an SDM is full of responsibility. There is no definite time to work because the officer has to stay on call for duty all the time. The post demands the role of decision making and therefore the SDM has to move ahead because it is a decision-maker in matters of importance. He has to see the affairs of administration in his area. If the SDM is stationed in a sensitive area, then he has to be more cautious.

Bihar Administrative Service:

Under the administrative service, the post is filled with responsibilities. The officer is responsible for day-to-day activities in his area.
